Indian Premier League 2023 Auction


In Kochi, Kerala, for the IPL 2023 Player Auction, a total of 80 players were sold and INR 1,67,00,00,000 was collectively spent by the ten franchises. All-rounders, who were in great demand, predominated the auction to a great extent. Sam Curran, an English all-rounder who was already making headlines before his name was put up for auction, broke a record and set a new one to become the most expensive player ever to be sold at an IPL auction.
