Delhi Capitals
In place of regular captain Rishabh Pant, who sustained severe injuries in a car accident last year, the Delhi Capitals will be led by veteran Australian opener David Warner in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Despite the strong start, the Capitals have underperformed in the IPL. Delhi fans are excited to witness the performance of their favorite team under the new captaincy of David Warner.
Gujarat Titans
Led by Hardik Pandya, by winning the IPL championship in the first season last year, Gujarat Titans created history. They replicated the accomplishment made by the Rajasthan Royals in 2008. After Rajasthan Royals, the Titans are the only other team to win the championship in their inaugural campaign. They had yet to offer the chance to take home the trophy after the IPL 2022 auction. The team defied the odds to win the championship in front of their home crowd in Ahmedabad. The Titans displayed impressive play throughout the season, winning 10 of their first 14 games.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Under Shreyas Iyer's captaincy, KKR will be one of the teams that will compete in the Indian Premier League 2023. For the first time in 2011, the franchise qualified for the IPL playoffs, and in 2012 and 2014, then won the tournament. And in the 2021 tournament, they were runners-up.
Lucknow Super Giants
KL Rahul is currently leading the team. The Lucknow team had a fantastic first season and advanced to the elimination round. But Lucknow's misfortune was that it lost to RCB. It will now be a battle to determine their IPL 2023 fortune, and they hope to win the IPL in the final match.
Mumbai Indians
Over the years, the Mumbai Indians have won two Champions League T20 and five IPL titles. As the team's captain, Rohit Sharma has performed admirably. Along with Cameron Green and Jofra Archer, who will be making their MI debuts at the upcoming edition, the two players currently on fire will be the ones to watch.
Punjab Kings
Shikhar Dhawan is the newest captain of the Punjab Kings in IPL 2023. Despite being a left-handed batsman, Shikhar Dhawan was the star opener for the Indian cricket team. He is the second-best batsman in IPL history. Sam Curran, an English all-rounder, became the most expensive player in IPL history when the Punjab Kings broke the bank to sign him in the IPL 2023 mini-auction for a record INR 18.50 crore.
Rajasthan Royals
Sanju Samson led the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 finals. The 28-year-old will again serve as the team's captain in the T20 league. Rajasthan Royals is the first team to win the first IPL title in IPL. The team won the first and only IPL title in 2008.

Sunrisers Hyderabad
David Warner led the Sunrises Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League the previous season. However, Aiden Markram, a South African cricketer, will captain Sunrisers Hyderabad instead of David Warner, who might supervise the Delhi Capitals.
